The thinking
A considered response to a specific, imagined brief.
Start with what matters.
The illustrative brief imagines a compact café on a busy street. The design needs to support quick visits, longer conversations, and a service counter that stays clear and intuitive during the morning rush.
Let the idea hold together.
The plan moves from an open front counter into a softer seating area, using changes in light, ceiling height, and material to give each zone its own pace. A warm mineral palette and tactile timber details add character without relying on a theme or visual noise.
